Players could find themselves spending hours searching for gang tags to spray over, hunting down photograph locations in San Fierro, or simply engaging in new, franchise one-off side missions ranging from gang territory battles to more esoteric enterprises like pimping. Despite being released on the PlayStation 2, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas delivered a massively sprawling game world absolutely packed with content, from hidden oyster shells to long-haul trucking missions, and although some players were torn on the more RPG-like aspects of the game San Andreas is still regarded as not only one of the best GTA titles ever but also one of the best games on the PS2 overall.
